Discussing cybersecurity at East Sweden Innovation Week
East Sweden Innovation week is arranged by Region Östergötland and Linköping Science Park on the 7th-13th of November. The week is centered around industries where the region has a strong presence and is a mix of lectures, workshops and panel debates. This is how the organizer describe the Week:
“East Sweden Innovation Week is a week full of inspiration, professional development and networking. Meet some of the leading innovation companies in Östergötland. Get inspiration from leading entrepreneurs. East Sweden Innovation Weeks aim is to strengthen the innovation climate in Östergötland.”
Cybersecurity is one of the head subjects of the week and link22 is a major player within the field, not only regionally but nationally. A cybersecurity panel debate will take place during Innovation Day on the 10th of November. We will discuss the current cybersecurity situation as a whole and what companies in general can, and maybe should, do in relation to that. This is how the organizer describe the debate:
“In times of trade war between the US and China, the war on Ukraine and an increasing polarization over the globe, the number of cyber attacks have risen and more and more companies and operations – even countries, are being attacked. The focus on cyber security is rising all across Europe and a number of initiatives are being launched in different countries and by different actors.
To see what is happening outside of Sweden, we have put together a panel on Cyber Security to bench-mark initiatives taking place in Europe to raise awareness and knowledge about how to avoid hacker attacks and cyber threats among SME:s and the public sector.”
